Retraction Policy

SINTA Journal (Science, Technology, and Agricultural) retracts published articles when there is definitive evidence that the findings are unreliable due to major error, fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, unethical research, or compromised peer review.

Retraction Principles:

  1. A formal Retraction notice titled "Retraction: [Original Article Title]" will be published with its own DOI.
  2. The original article PDF will not be deleted; it will remain accessible with a prominent watermark "RETRACTED" on every page to preserve the historical record.
  3. The reason for retraction and the retracting entity (authors, editors, or publisher) will be explicitly stated.
  4. Total removal of an article is strictly limited to legal injunctions or extreme safety/privacy risks.
