Authorship and Contributorship Policy

SINTA Journal (Science, Technology, and Agricultural) adheres to the COPE Core Practice on authorship and adopts the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy). Authorship must reflect substantial intellectual contribution.

All listed authors must qualify under the four ICMJE criteria:

  1. Substantial contributions to conception, design, data acquisition, or analysis and interpretation.
  2. Drafting the work or revising it critically for important intellectual content.
  3. Final approval of the version to be published.
  4. Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work.

Honorary, gift, or ghost authorship is strictly prohibited. Pure acquisition of funding, administrative oversight, or general supervision does not qualify for authorship without intellectual input.
