Allegations of Misconduct and Whistleblowing

SINTA Journal (Science, Technology, and Agricultural) investigates credible allegations of scientific misconduct raised before or after publication.

Concerns can be reported confidentially to parwitougm@gmail.com.
Procedure:

  1. Initial Triage: Assessment within 14 days by the research integrity officer.
  2. Evidence Gathering: Contacting authors for original raw data or institutional verification.
  3. Institutional Escalation: If misconduct is substantiated, the journal cooperates with the author's university or institutional ethics body.
  4. Resolution: Possible outcomes include rejection, correction notice, formal Expression of Concern, or article Retraction.

Whistleblowers' identities are protected to the fullest extent permitted by law.
