Article Processing Charge (APC)
Since many authors withdrew their manuscripts in the final form just before payment of the publication fee, our policy has been revised, effective December 30, 2025. The Publication fee (0 IDR) and processing fee (750,000 IDR/42 $ US) are paid after a preliminary evaluation, not at the end of the process. Our evaluation has two steps. 1) A preliminary evaluation by the editor (the author gets a preliminary acceptance or rejection); 2) An external double-blind peer review (at this point, the author gets a final decision: acceptance or rejection). Please note that if the manuscript is not published, the author or their institution will receive a refund (except in cases of poor feedback from authors or withdrawal/rejection due to multiple submissions). We inform authors of our final decision (acceptance or rejection) within 6-8 weeks after their submission has been received. The average time from manuscript submission to publication is 8-12 weeks.

Authors who need their work reviewed more quickly can use the JIA fast-track review service for a fee of 1,000,000 IDR/ 56 $ US. This service, however, does not change how independent or fair reviewers and editors are when they review the manuscript. Even submissions that go through fast-track still have to undergo the journal's normal peer-review process to ensure they are fair, honest, and scientifically sound.

Manuscript processing fee: 750,000 IDR/42 $ US; Manuscript processing fee with priority: 1,000,000 IDR/ 56 $ US; Publication fee: 0 IDR. This manuscript processing fee is used to support the editorial process, publication system management, and the maintenance of open access for all readers. Payment processing fees and bank account details will be provided upon acceptance of the manuscript. Waiver policy

If you do not have funds to pay such charge, you will have an opportunity to waive it. We do not want the charge to prevent the publication of worthy work. Please contact us for the waive.
