Author Guidelines

The manuscript to be published in the Agribusiness and Integrated Farming System Journal must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The manuscript may be the result of research or a theoretical review in the field of agribusiness, integrated farming systems, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, agroindustry, agricultural technology, rural development, food security, environmental management, sustainable agriculture, agricultural economics, agricultural extension, and related interdisciplinary studies.

Agribusiness and Integrated Farming System Journal publishes scientific papers on research and scientific studies within the scope of agribusiness and integrated farming systems, including but not limited to:

The manuscript format should be prepared in Indonesian or English and written concisely and clearly. Manuscripts should not exceed 14 pages including references and appendices.

The manuscripts are arranged in the following order:

  • Title (capital letters) in Indonesian and English
  • Author names without academic titles
  • Affiliation and corresponding author email
  • Abstract and keywords
  • Introduction
  • Research Methods
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusions and Suggestions
  • References

Sub-sections may be added as needed. Numbering in each chapter is not required.

The abstract consists of 100–250 words, typed in single spacing, containing the background/problem, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Manuscripts written in Indonesian must provide abstracts in Indonesian and English, while manuscripts written in English must provide abstracts in English. Keywords should be included after the abstract and must reflect the research topic.

All tables and figures should be given titles in the text and numbered using Arabic numerals, with captions added if necessary.

An author wishing to submit a paper to the Agribusiness and Integrated Farming System Journal should send it electronically through the journal submission system or official journal email. All correspondence, including notification of the Editor’s decision and requests for revision, will be conducted electronically.

Article Categories

Authors must categorize their paper as part of the article information. The category which most closely describes the paper should be selected from the list below.

Research Paper

This category covers papers reporting any type of research undertaken by the authors. The research may involve the construction or testing of a model or framework, action research, data testing, surveys, empirical research, scientific experiments, or field studies.

Technical Paper

Describes and evaluates technical products, agricultural technologies, processes, or services.

Conceptual Paper

These papers are generally not based on empirical research but develop hypotheses or conceptual frameworks. The papers are likely to be discursive and cover philosophical discussions and comparative studies of previous works and ideas.

Case Study Reports

Case studies describe actual interventions or experiences within organizations, farming communities, or agribusiness institutions. These may be subjective and generally do not report formal research.

Revised Manuscript

The author must revise the manuscript no later than 1 month after receiving review results from the Agribusiness and Integrated Farming System Journal editorial team (first edited paper). Papers returned after one month will be considered new submissions. Revised manuscripts must be re-submitted within 1 week after receiving the final editorial request.

References

The bibliography or references should be arranged alphabetically by the first author’s surname and subsequent authors. The References list should only contain sources cited in the manuscript.

If there are two or more manuscripts by the same author published in the same year, they should be distinguished using letters (a, b, c, etc.) after the year of publication.
